MIT Museum: Risks and Rewards: Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research at 25
The Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research is celebrating its 25th year with a special exhibit celebrating "the epitome of all that is great in science." Open to the general public, the exhibition highlights the achievements of risk-taking scientists whose research has shed light on the building blocks of our understanding of life through modern science.

Student Wiki Exhibition
Students will display a single or multiple pieces of their art work in a salon style, which will then be moderately critiqued. The show works on a rolling admission style with a few exceptions. Come and view your fellow students' work in this public display of arts.

"Re:Design" - Theater Production
Written by Craig Baxter and produced by the Darwin Correspondence Project at the UK's Cambridge University, this theatrical production follows Darwin's correspondence with his close friend Asa Gray, an American botanist and God-fearing Christian.

Wellesley College's own student circus group, Great Lights of Wellesley, invites audience to its annual circus show which will include various circus acts ranging from simple juggling and hula hoops to stilt walking and much more.

Sgt. Culpepper's Comedy Jamboree
According to ImprovBoston, this performance, which was meant to honor a WWI military officer who staged improvisational plays to entertain his troops, is a hilarious, knee-slapping "improvisational hootenanny." The show combines visiting performers, audience members and ImprovBoston cast members in a 16-player open jam.

Lester Brown discusses Plan B 3.0: Mobilizing to Save Civilization
Author Lester Brown will present his new book Plan B 3.0, an updated version of his environmental landmark Plan B, outlining the steps we need to take to survive the 21st century. He will discuss the impacts that rising temperature, water and oil shortage, and increasing population have on the sustainability of the planet and the complexity that we face in order to form an effective response in the face of this global threat.

The World as a Stage
Inspired by Shakespeare's line "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players," in As You Like It, the exhibition redefines the role of spectator and participant by examining the museum experience. Jessica Morgan, the Curator of Contemporary Art and Catherine Wood, Curator of Contemporary Art and Performance of the Tate Modern, will organize the event.
